Protective Coating

Product Option:  Protective Coating:

Designed specifically for Printed themes, the Protective Coating is able to resist most damage caused by: UV rays, Moisture and Smudging. When applied, the product will have a matte or gloss finish.

Option Details:

Matte or Gloss: Spray Coating that is applied to the outside of the sleeve.

Laminate Coating: Clear plastic coating on the outside of the sleeve.

Care Instructions: 

Exposure to Moisture: Carefully remove credit card or passport from RFID protection sleeve as soon as possible.  Gently pat dry the outside of the sleeve with a towel or paper towel.  Do not rub, doing so may remove the protective spray finish.  You may also use a blowdryer for a minute or two until the paper is dry.

a)  If the inside of the card is wet, carefully open the card and air dry or use a blowdryer for a minute or two until the sleeve is dry.  NOTE: the seals of the sleeves could tear easily when wet.
b)  If you have chosen the laminate option, carefully open the card and air dry or use a blowdryer for a minute or two until the sleeve is dry.

Please Note: Will NOT prevent paper tearing, ink bleeding or smearing if submerged or exposed to moisture for a peorid of time.  Protective spray coating may wear off if heavily used or is in environments with excessive moisture.

Please Note: The protective coating may become sticky in temperatures exceeding 100F and contains chemicals known to the State of California to cause cancer and birth defects or other reproductive harm.  (Protective coating does not protect against extended exposure of moisture, 3-g)
